PRIMARY and SECONDARY PACKAGING DESIGN
I partnered with a New York based design studio to create fresh packaging solutions for Hennessy VS and Hennessy Black. Working closely with Hennessy's international marketing department in France we developed products that would create buzz and appeal to their target demographic.
FLASK SLEEVE DESIGN
Leading the design and development for a limited edition cover for Hennessy’s VS Flask, we worked through a handful of design iterations. We landed on a design of snug silicone sleeve–available in a rainbow of colors–knowing that it would become the next must-have accessory for the cognac connoisseur.
Durable and interchangeable, the silicon “skin” sleeves have a slim profile; the lid (a.k.a. the Henny Hoodie) does not need to be removed for consumption. The sleeve generated so much buzz that it continues to be produced in limited edition quantities and designs today.
From concept through production, we embraced Hennessy's 200+ years of heritage and created a modern solution never seen before in the cognac market.
BLACK BOTTLE DESIGN
We were asked to design a new, smaller volume, bottle for newly-launched Hennessy Black. To understand Hennessy's glass fabrication capabilities, we traveled to Cognac and immersed ourselves in all things Hennessy including vineyard visits, factory tours, and dinner complete with cognac cocktails at Richard Hennessy’s Chateau.
